Not to mention the fact that EN development seems glacially slow compared to its competitors. 17:34:17.501 ShipIt Moved bundle from file:///Applications/Evernote.app/ to file:///var/folders/9b/y9gwrbg11mz4ptvfc3m_1py80000gn/T/.bzAa9ZzL/Evernote.app And now there are several new alternatives that seem to fit my needs and are much cheaper. 17:34:13.308 ShipIt Beginning installation 17:34:12.830 ShipIt Detected this as an install request I killed the ShipIt process on Apr-22 at 13:13, which caused Evernote to relaunch Here is the content of the the ShipIt_stderr.log - you can see that ShipIt reported it quit on Apr-21 at 17:34 - but it did not exit and stayed looping. It appears Shipit got stuck partway through the update process and was racing away. I did a bit of research about the issue and then I force quit ShipIt and Evernote spontaneously relaunched. ![]() I didn't think much about it until I returned today to find the fans still running loudly and when I checked - ShipIt was pinning a single core at almost 100% CPU for about 19 hours. It's also my home Plex Media Server so it will sometimes be streaming and under load. But I was also running a few large downloads and the system fans spun up to high. (And prior to that I was on the latest version supported by Catalina - I'm sorry I don't know what my previous version was) FYI - I recently updated my mac from Catalina to Big Sur, a few days later I was prompted by Evernote to upgrade to 10.35.3 when I launched it.
